about this book
  • overview

This book is a translation of a work by an early Sufi Shaikh and founder of one of the largest Sufi orders in the Muslim world. On reading it it is no surprise the popularity of the order. One of the most remarkable things about the Muslim religion (And one of the things I feel that becomes lost on some of the modern Muslims who seem attracted to Sufism) Is its simplicity. There are quite simple rules to follow (Pray, fast, belief in God etc) simple beliefs of Islam. The book, simply put is written for the person who feels an emptiness in life and is seeking the answers to fill that void in life. Shaikh Gilani points the way not only with the simple forms of Islam but also just what the benefits are with following them. How holding to these principles and putting them into practice in a person's daily life (The prayers, remembrance of God etc). A Spiritual text written by famous Spiritual Sufi Teacher Shaykh Abdul Qadr Gilani.
