Islamic Revolution of Iran
about this book
  • overview

The history of the Revolution, since its inception up to the present time, can serve as an example for all the weakened and the oppressed and particularly for the Muslims whose destiny is in the hands of the world arrogance which has separated their religion from their life in this world and has restricted Islam within the framework of religious rituals for them. Although many books have so far been written and published concerning the history of the Revolution, but all or the majority of them have been written and compiled with vested interests and with spiteful outlook towards the Revolution. Obviously, it was necessary to prepare a brief history in English highlighting the historical facts and realities of the Islamic Revolution and put the same at the disposal of all so that besides being a lesson and example for the oppressed  nations, it remains for ever a historical document. This book deals with the history of the Revolution since its inception, ie, 15th Khurdad,  1342 SH  (5th  June,  1963)  till  the victory.
