Mumtaz ul Haq Debate I On Who Killed Imam Hussain (a.s)
about this book
  • overview

Mumtaz Ul Haq is a Deobandi religious scholar based in the UK. He is a prolific speaker who has spoken on a plethora of subjects. Many of his speeches can be located on various forms of social media. He commands huge popularity among the Sunni masses who look up to him with awe, thus further propelling his status and ever increasing ego to another level.
He gives a definite impression to be infatuated with attacking the followers of the Ahlulbayt (a.s) such that his speeches and discussions on various topics in this field of interest are littered with spewing venom. His modus operand involves: - Misquoting Shi'ee texts, whether that be in terms of translation or context. - Referencing major Shi'ee scholars and their works without ascertaining if the reference is authentic or not. These methods are applied merely to dupe his followers into bearing enmity towards the followers of the Ahlulbayt (a.s). The Sheikh has in recent months sought to increase his hatred of the Shi'ee to the next level wherein he has made absurd challenges on YouTube such that the Shi'ee produce a Qur'aan Hafiz from amongst their ranks. A challenge that has courted raucous applause from his followers. Alas, if the Sheikh had merely searched through the social media, he would have come across a myriad of Shi'a Hafiz referenced therein, including one of the youngest Qur'aan reciters, Sayed Muhammad Hussain Tabatabai.
