    This sura is known as the bride of the Qurʼan and the name is taken from the first verse. It is the only sura that begins with an attribute of Allah and here His role as Al Rahman is expounded. The verse “Which of your Lordʼs blessings will both of you deny?” is repeated thirty one times to enforce that Allahʼs mercy endures forever. The sura is in prose dealing with proofs of the grace of Allah. Its message also portrays vividly an image of Heaven and Hell.
