The masterpiece of Imam al-Ghazali, unquestionably one of the greatest thinkers and theologians of Islam. Chapter One: Imam Al Ghazali discusses the Excellence of the Qur'an, the people concern with it's recitation and neglect of those who fail to fulfil the Quran's rights. Chapter Two: Deals with external rules of Tilawat, from cleanliness to reciting in beautiful slow manner. Chapter Three: Deals with the internal rules of Tilawat, from attempting to appreciate the Magnificent of Devine speech to getting rid of any sense of power, ability and looking at once self with satisfaction and purification. Chapter Four: Imam Al Ghazali, explains the prohibition of Qur'an explanation (tafsir) by personal opinion (bir-ra'j) and weather this is a comprehensive prohibition or limited to concerned cases.
